Dear Incoming 6th Grade Students and Families,
Welcome to Kimberly Middle School! We are excited to welcome you to the 6th grade and begin a new school year together.
Starting middle school is an exciting milestone filled with new opportunities, new friendships, and new experiences. Our goal is to help every student feel welcomed, supported, and successful as they make the transition from elementary school to middle school. Throughout the year, students will learn valuable academic skills, build independence and responsibility, and participate in a variety of engaging activities both inside and outside the classroom.
We encourage families to stay connected throughout the school year. The 6th Grade Team sends a weekly update every Friday with important information about assignments, upcoming events, classroom activities, and reminders. These updates are also emailed home, so please ensure your contact information is current during registration.
Back-to-School Night
All incoming 6th grade students and their parents/guardians are expected to attend our Back-to-School Night presentation. This event provides important information about schedules, expectations, classes, technology, and how to have a successful start to middle school.
