LANGUAGE ARTS:

This week in English our student’s AR books are due. Each student must read two AR books, in their reading level. I will accept late AR tests, but they will be docked points. We are continuing with our poetry unit. Grades have been updated. If your student is a B-Day student, they still have until tomorrow to turn in their AR reading without penalty. Some grades were uploaded early over the weekend, I apologize for the confusion. Have a great week!

MATH:

We'll be doing some fun activities in math this week to practice long division. We'll also complete a project that requires us to use logic and our math skills to solve a problem.

Tests are being graded and will be entered soon. Watch for those grades to be posted by the end of the week. I do allow test corrections if students are not happy with their grade.

Hey All,

This week we will be dropping our containers for our egg drop. Monday 5.15 A Day and Tuesday 5.16 B Day will be the drop dates. We will then start our last unit learning about the anatomy of a trout. Our fishing trip for 6th grade will be May 30th and 31st . Your students should be getting a paper either today or tomorrow about the field trip. We would love to have some volunteers, it's a great time! If you have any questions or concerns, I would be happy to answer them!
