Weekly Update 4/10/2023 - 4/14/2023

Welcome to the KMS 6th Grade Weekly Update!

English ISATs begin this week on Monday, April 10th and Tuesday, April 11th! Make sure you get plenty of rest and a good breakfast before coming to school! If your child has missed any days of school, make sure to have them come in and talk to their teachers to see what they missed so they can make up missing work!

This week in English Language Arts we will be taking the ISAT. If you student is absent during English this week, they will be able to make up the test on a later date. My students are the best!!! I am in the process of grading the persuasive essays that were due last week. Updated grades will be posted in the next couple of days.
Please reach out to me with any questions.

MATH:

This week in math we're exploring statistics. We'll be working on calculating the mean, median, mode, and range of a data set. We will also continue to practice and review what we've learned this year to help us be ready for our first math ISAT tests on April 24th for B day and 25th for A day.

If students have a low grade on an assignment or test, they can always redo it to improve their grade. Please let me know if you have any questions.
