KIMBERLY SCHOOL BOARD MEETING
December 6, 2021 7:00 p.m.
Special Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Mr. Nield at 12:03 p.m. Present were trustees, Mr. Allen, Mr. Giles and Mr. Kelsey at the district office. Mr. Melvin was not in attendance. Also, in attendance: Mr. Schroeder, Superintendent, Ms. Searby, District Clerk and Mr. Schvaneveldt, Program Director.
AGENDA: Mr. Giles moved to approve the special meeting agenda; Mr. Kelsey seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-0.
APPROVE ADOPTION OF READING WONDERS AND STUDY SYNC CURRICULUM: Mr. Kelsey moved
to approve the recommendation to adoption of the Reading Wonders and Study Sync curriculum using the remainder of the learning loss funds and some of the ESSER II funds. Mr. Giles seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-0. Mr. Schvaneveldt wanted to reiterate that this is the best use of the money and will greatly help by updating our current curriculum to where it needs to be.
ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Kelsey moved to adjourn the special meeting at 12:12 PM, Mr. Giles seconded the motion. Motion carried 4-0.
