Policy 2163 - Driver Training Education

The Kimberly School District offers a Driver Training Education Program. Anyone residing in the District between the ages of fourteen and one-half (14 ½) through twenty-one (21) years of age, irrespective or whether they are enrolled in the district, are eligible to enroll in the District’s drivers training program.

The Driver’s Education Program will be conducted after school hours, on Saturdays or during regular school vacation periods. The purpose of the program is to introduce students to a course of study that leads to the eventual development of skills appropriate for a licensed driver. The traffic education program is designed to meet the criteria established by the State Department of Education.
