WHAT IS CLASSIFIED?

Classified staff means positions that do not require a certificate, license, or other credentialing document issued by the department of education. Classified employees include bus drivers, nutrition assistants, paraprofessionals (i.e. Title/Remediation, Special and General Ed), clerical staff, custodians, maintenance and similar classifications.

OPEN CLASSIFIED POSITIONS 

  • Kimberly school district is looking for drivers to join the transportation department to help with bus routes and activity trips for the FY24 school year. 
    Route pay begins at $25.83 to $33.41 per route. Full time hourly driver pay is $17.22 to $22.27 per hour. 
    Salary placement is dependent on bus driving experience. 
    This position does require a CDL with school bus endorsement and a DOT Physical (paid for by the district). Onsite training is available!

  • Kimberly School District Transportation department is in need of substitute bus drivers for routes and activity trips. This does require a CDL with school bus endorsement and a DOT Physical (paid for by the district). Onsite training is available and takes 40 hours.

  • Kimberly School District is looking for a full time ERC Paraprofessional. This position will support the SPED program assisting students in their areas of need to reach individualized educational goals with less restrictive alternatives. Position qualifies for a full time benefit package to include health, dental and vision options; PERSI Retirement; and paid holiday, sick and personal leave. Rate of pay is $14.42 to $18.65 per hour depending on school experience.

  • Kimberly School District is looking to fill a full time Custodial position. This is a year-round position with paid vacation, personal, holiday, and sick leave days. Also qualifies for a full benefit package and PERSI retirement. Position will be on a swing shift – Monday through Friday. The hourly pay rate will range from $15.30 to $19.79 and is based on years of similar experience and proven skills.

OPEN CLASSIFIED STUDENT POSITIONS 

  • The Kimberly School District is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Student Intern to support the district administration team for the 24-25 school year. Hours are flexible and based on your school schedule. Candidate should be able to start training this summer.

    Duties may include clerical tasks, office organization, special projects, and event support. Confidentiality is vital.

    Qualifications include exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills. Individual must demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Additionally, confidentiality and discretion are paramount in this role.
    Compensation is $14 (FY24 rate) per hour.
