We will be talking about upcoming events and contest. We will also do committee work for Adopt a Family, Blood Drive, and Fruit Sales. Fruit Sales will also begin at this meeting.
Individual Meal includes a 1/4 tri-tip, baked potato, salad, vegetable, and a roll. Family ticket feeds 5. Tickets must be purchased in advance from an FFA member or the High School office. Ticket sales close October 11th and tickets are required for pickup. All proceeds go into the chapter fund to support general chapter function for the year including student travel, activities, and other key details of the FFA Program of Activities. The FFA chapter hosts the annual Kimberly Halloween Carnival for the kids in the community. The purpose of this event is to give the kids a safe place to play on the afternoon of Halloween before the parade to the park. The carnival will include games, prizes and candy. This event helps bring the community closer together as well as giving our chapter members a chance to do something for the community. We will need members to manage game stations, take tickets, run the prize table, and decorate the gym prior to the Carnival.
During the lunch hour and advisory we will have a speaker from an agricultural industry present to the FFA members about their career and opportunities in their career area. Lunch will be provided to all dues paid members.
