This year KHS boys soccer had a rough start to the season, but has rebounded strong and is working its way toward season goals.

After suffering losses to Wendell, Gooding and Bliss, the Bulldogs came back with victories over Declo, Buhl, and a second match with Gooding. As the season continues they are figuring out a way to work together as a team and start winning games.

Head coach Nathan Cook said, “There were multiple things we had to work on and the boys got together several times per week during the summer. They developed friendship on and off the field. A few players battled through injuries and grades and can play on the field together now.

“The boys really understand the game and how to move the ball up the field. The defense is always solid. The team is increasing their understanding for supporting one another in games and in practice.”

The boys soccer team faces Sun Valley Community School on Friday, Sept. 16, and then will host Wendell on Monday, Sept. 19.
