Last week was Homecoming week, one of Kimberly High School’s most important weeks! The entire student body was overly excited for the Homecoming festivities and the game!

On Friday the varsity football team played the Mountain Home Tigers and emerged with a staggering 70-7 victory. The win pushes the Bulldogs’ record to 4-0 on the season.

The next day, Saturday, was the Homecoming dance with the theme of “A Night in Paris.”

During the week, KHS held dress up days with different themes each day. Our lovely student council produced ideas such as Flight to Paris (Monday), Barbie vs. Oppenheimer (Tuesday), Olympics/sports jersey day (Wednesday), and color day (Thursday) with seniors wearing red, juniors white, sophomores blue, and freshmen black. Friday was, of course, spirit days where students wore their best school spirit fits!

The best part of homecoming was finding out each class' homecoming royalty. The freshmen royalty was Sam Hardy and Gunner Beckstead. The sophomore's royalty was Oliva Ward and Jacob Berdichevsky. The juniors’ royalty was Abbi D’ambra and Colton may.

As announced at the football game last Friday, Ani Bruning and Mikey Goff won the homecoming queen and king for seniors.

At the homecoming assembly, it was announced that sophomores won the dress up days, seniors were the loudest, and And Mrs. Oman and Miss Steph’s advisories won the door decoration contest.

Homecoming is one of our biggest events and it is always so fun for our student body. The dress up days for that week are crazy fun and cool! Then we have our fun homecoming football games with so much spirit! Homecoming is a fantastic way to have fun and dance with your friends. Thank goodness we have our student council to produce all our fun activities and themes for our homecoming!
