A Little About Me
This year will be my thirteenth-year teaching here at Kimberly Elementary as well as teaching second grade. I love second grade!
My husband and I have been married for twenty-six years. We have two children, Ethan and Ellie. Ethan is twenty-five and married to our beautiful daughter-in-law Ella. Ellie is twenty-two and is married to our son-in-law Cylus. Both of our children went to school here in Kimberly from kindergarten on, and both graduated here with honors. We feel so fortunate to be a part of this incredible community and are so thankful our children were able to experience all Kimberly has to offer in education.
My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. Some of our favorite things to do together are camping, hiking, fishing, and attending Kimberly High football games. I also really enjoy doing indoor cycling and Pilates. My favorite animals are owls (as you can probably tell). I love reading, cooking, baking, playing card and board games, the Packers football team, and spending time with second graders! I would choose spending time with second graders above all of them because YOU GUYS ARE GREAT! I am so excited to get to know all about you this year and look forward to seeing you on the first day of school.
Homework will consist of reading 80 minutes a week, which will help them achieve their Accelerated Reader Goals as well as a short weekly math practice page to ensure parents see what they are currently working on and how they are progressing. There will also be a weekly spelling pattern to study.
