Our family has lived and farmed in the Kimberly area since 1913. I graduated from Twin Falls in 1983, and attended the University of Idaho and received my degree in agricultural economics in 1987. After graduation I returned to the Kimberly area to take over the family farm, where we are currently farming around 400 acres of row crops. My wife Toni and our two boys Parker and Seth live just two miles west of Kimberly on the outskirts of Twin Falls. I have served on the Snake River Soil Conservation board since 1989, and The Magic Valley Bank Community Advisory Board plus numerous Church boards at Trinity Lutheran.
I have always felt that I would be involved in whatever school my kids attended. Thus when the opportunity arose to be part of the Kimberly School Board, I jumped in headfirst and have never had any regrets. The Kimberly Schools will be faced with many challenges in the future, with the current growth that we see in our area increasing enrollment, and unfunded mandates to name a few. I know that by keeping our focus on “Kids First”, we will be able to handle these challenges and maintain the high excellence we have become accustom to at Kimberly Schools.

Our family has lived in Kimberly for 8 years. We have two children who currently attend the Kimberly School District. When selecting Kimberly as our home we researched the area and made the decision to live here based on the strength of the school system.
My wife and I both earned our Masters degrees from Idaho State University. My Wife, Stephanie, is a Real Estate Appraiser and I work for CH2M HILL engineering in the water and wastewater field. My family has been involved with education for many years as my parents worked at the College of Idaho for 40 years in the Mathematics and Geology Departments. I grew up with the core value that education brings success.
I have an absolute passion for educating our people. The education of all children in this country is the corner stone of our society, and what makes the United States of America unique in the world.

As a lifelong local resident and 2004 graduate of Kimberly High School, I have always had a desire to enrich the community that has given so much to me. Throughout my high school career I enjoyed participating in many sports, including football, wrestling, and track. Upon graduation, I served a two year mission to the Dominican Republic for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This opportunity allowed me to become fluent in the Spanish language. After returning home I married my wife, Whitney. We attended Utah State University where I earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and she earned a degree in Elementary Education. Education is a priority in our family.
I currently work in the area managing a large dairy. Together Whitney and I have four children. We enjoy each other's company and being involved in activities throughout our community. I am excited to be a contributor to decisions made by the school board to help make improvements to education, enrich student lives, and to better prepare them for whatever their future may hold.

I have lived in Kimberly for 20 years. I was raised on an Eastern Idaho dairy and crop farm. In addition to farming, my family was involved in education. My father was a teacher, principal and superintendent in the Ririe and Swan Valley areas for over 37 years. Also, my mother-in-law and father-in-law both taught school in the Idaho Falls area for a combined 57 years at Bonneville High School and Tiebreaker Elementary. My family has been very connected to education and small community life in Idaho for some time. I support and appreciate public education. I have a strong belief in the value of the many small communities that cover Idaho.
I graduated from Idaho State University in 1988 in Business Finance. I then moved to the Kimberly area with my wife, Devry, and our then small family for what I thought would be a short stay. It didn't take long to realize Kimberly was an outstanding place to put down roots and raise a family. That decision made twenty years ago has been a great one for my family. I have been happily involved since that time in private business and in banking in the Magic Valley. I recognize and appreciate the opportunities that Kimberly and the Magic Valley have afforded my family. For many years now my family has had significant involvement around the valley in music and drama groups, athletics, scouting, and church. We have four children currently attending Kimberly Schools and two Kimberly graduates attending college.
I admire the quality of our teachers and the positive learning atmosphere my children have experienced. Kimberly Schools truly have a "kids first" feel along with above average academic success. It is my desire to help maintain that feel, and academic success with continued attention to fiscal responsibility as our small town grows.
