U.S. History I
U.S. History I will involve studying the history of the United States from pre-colonial America to the end of Reconstruction after the Civil War (1877). Students will cover the history, political structure, social background, and economic institutions of the United States during this period.

U.S. History II
This class examines important changes and events between 1877 and the present. An emphasis will be placed on tracing the development of the American political system, economic institutions, and U.S. culture during the Gilded Age, the Progressive Era, the World Wars, the Cold War, the Civil Rights Era, the Korean and Vietnam Wars to the present.
Prerequisite: U.S. History IA and IB Grade level: 11
