A message from the High School principal
January 23, 2012
Dear Students, Parents and Patrons:
Welcome to the Spring Semester at Kimberly High School. KHS has a long tradition of academic excellence, community service, and excellent co-curricular activities. We take the task of educating our youth very seriously and strive to have all students reach their potential and achieve their academic goals.
Our staff and students have appeared to adjust quite well to our new schedule and the other changes associated with the Students Come First legislation. As part of this legislation, all Juniors will be taking the SAT on April 18th.
If you have not heard already, Kimberly High School won $100,000 in the Go On Challenge sponsored by the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation. There are not strings attached of how to use the money. However, the intent is to have more of our high school students successfully complete college. In the months to come, we will be receiving input from staff, patrons, and students of how to best use this resource to benefit our students at KHS.
For upcoming events please refer to the KHS homepage as well as our calendar on the website.
Please feel free to contact me throughout the year with any questions or concerns. We are looking forward to a successful completion of the 2011-2012 school year.
Sincerely,
Luke Schroeder
Principal
