The visit to Canyon Ridge High School on January 18 was enlightening and useful for our us in developing our plan. During dinner we discussed Superintendent Luna' ideas on reforming the schools. This was followed with a tour of the high school led by principal Brady Dickinson highlighting their academy programs in health occupations and engineering. The automated manufacturing lab was very impressive. After the tour, Superintendent Wiley Dobbs explained their procedure for developing their five year strategic plan.

Our next meeting is scheduled for February 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the Round Building. We will discuss school finance and how we want to format our recommendations to the Board.
